Everyone at Grant Street is involved in "doing history" because history matters. It is important because it serves as memory for us. It keeps the past alive. It connects the past to he present and assists in forecasting the future history creates a sense of identy and connection that help us
understand who we are today. Through history, past events remain alive and known by others for a long time. It provides examples of what works and what does't work.
